Liquid Vitamins | Quays Clinic of Hypnotherapy

Liquid Vitamins

Your multivitamin is not necessarily the best vitamin for you. They do not give you all the nutrients you need because our bodies absorb each differently. Some people decide to take a double dose of multivitamins which is very harmful to our bodies because we will intake too much of certain vitamins. This can release toxins into our bodies. The answer to this is to take other supplements such as liquid vitamins and herbal supplements.

Dietary Supplements

It’s critical for our bodies to have certain vitamins in them. Some vitamins are absorbed in our bodies naturally without ingestion. Many of our foods are fortified with additional vitamins. Many people choose to eat organic foods and in doing so, they may not get all of the vitamins they need. Those who avoid certain food types such as vegetarians or people allergic to certain foods could be missing Vitamin B12 which is found in milk, eggs, and dairy products. Those who choose not to drink milk may be missing out on Vitamin D. There are very few foods that actually contain Vitamin D. These are the reasons there are so many dietary supplements available on the market.

Liquid Vitamins vs Pill Vitamins

Many pill vitamins are bulky and hard to swallow especially for children and senior adults. It is shown that our bodies absorb 20 percent of pill vitamins compared to approximately 98 percent of liquid vitamins. Our bodies places solids into a digestive process and liquids goes into our bloodstream in shorter amounts of time.

The Truth about Vitamin D

Vitamin D is a perfect example of why we take liquid dietary supplements. Our bodies need it for calcium absorption. We also need it for bone remodeling and growth. Our bodies naturally absorb Vitamin D from sun exposure. The ultraviolet rays from the sunlight triggers Vitamin D synthesis. As mentioned there are not too many foods that naturally contain Vitamin D. It is actually added to milk. The foods that naturally contain Vitamin D include fatty fish such as salmon and mackerel. The fish oils are the best. There are small traces of it found in cheese, egg yolks,  beef and liver. Those foods mostly contain Vitamin D3.

Herbal Supplements

Herbal supplements are a type of dietary supplement. They do not have to get FDA approval because they come from plants. There are many herbal supplements in the form of liquid vitamins. Herbal companies realize that most herbs have to be broken down for our bodies to use them. They produce their vitamins in liquid form so it can be ready to use. This is great for needing it in a hurry. You will find a lot of people using liquid herbal vitamins for hair and also prenatal vitamins.
It is always important to talk to your doctor before stating any vitamin regiment. Vitamins taken incorrectly can affect your health. They will be able to give you advice on the best liquid vitamin you should take.
